Nine 2 nothing was invented by my eldest daughter 4 years ago, we were on holiday and bored of Uno so she played around with a pack of cards and came up with this simple yet exciting and equally frustrating family number sequencing game. Ideal for younger ones to learn the number sequence but equally challenging and fun for older kids (and us grownups) to play as a family. 4. Happy bear swim nappies – please don’t fill up your entire suitcase with 200 nappies! Its as simple as that! Disposable swim nappies are not only bad for the environment, they cost a fortune and will take up ¾ of your suitcase and luggage allowance! Happy bear swim nappies are totally reusable and easy to wash and clean, like all swim nappies they let the wee wee out but keep the poo poo in – as and when your child has kindly given you a number 2 (most probably the second you put the nappy on if like my kids!) you can take it to the toilet and drop it in and quickly wash the nappy and straight back on! 5. Carl Oscar – you have probably never heard of him and up until a few weeks ago neither had I!! He is a Swedish genius (or close to it as the number 1 spot is taken by Mr Ikea!) they have a range of snack boxes and lunch boxes like nothing we have ever seen – the snack disc and bento disc are round boxes with different compartments for different snacks – they are very sturdy and well made, spin round to give easy access to different snacks and are easy to clean afterwards – they make snacking for kids not only simple and clean but also a little fun! They also have the N’Ice cup and lunch box giving you the change to add ice to it to keep it cool and fresh all day long! Brilliant doesn’t need to be complicated – it needs to solve a purpose and this range of products tick every box!

My Little Seat – if your anything like me and hate with a passion the gross plastic (I think Ikea – again) high chairs given to you at a restaurant then you will really love My Little seat – its small, its portable, it fits on any chair with a back (as in not a stool) and its safe and easy to clean. No more waiting for a high chair, or given one that your child can easily fall through or with broken straps or even better still has loads of dirt and food stained from the previous child!
